Once again, we congratulate everyone as a sub-grant recipient of the grant program and with the financial support of the “Right Side” NGO, the “Global Fund for Trans Rights Protection” implemented the project titled “Raising Awareness of Trans Sex Workers to Have a Safe and Harmonious Life.”
Within the framework of this project, a seminar was organized, gathering 15 trans sex workers from Yerevan and various regions of Armenia. The seminar took place in August 2023 and was dedicated to discussing important issues regarding the safety and well-being of sex workers in Armenia.
We are honored to express our gratitude to the “Right Side” NGO for providing a safe space for the seminar and to the “Red Umbrella” Foundation for its efforts to raise awareness about the rights of sex workers in Armenia and region.
