In 2024, the GTRP Foundation reached a crucial milestone in our organizational development through a focused initiative to create and refine essential internal policies. This important work was made possible thanks to the financial support of the International Trans Fund (ITF), whose commitment to resourcing grassroots trans-led movements continues to have a transformative impact on organizations like ours.
As a growing foundation committed to trans rights, justice, and community empowerment, we recognize that clear, inclusive, and well-structured policies are not just administrative tools—they are vital instruments that ensure transparency, accountability, and sustainability in all that we do. With ITF’s support, we were able to host a dedicated event bringing together our team and community members to co-create and review the frameworks that guide our governance, decision-making, safeguarding, and internal operations.

It allowed us to collectively define how we work, how we protect and support our communities, and how we stay aligned with our values as we continue to grow.
