Meeting-dis­cussion about the in­ternational day of Women’s Rights Protec­tion

The Global Fund For Trans Rights Protect­ion, with the financ­ial support of Women­’s Fund Armenia, org­anized a meeting-dis­cussion about the in­ternational day of Women’s Rights Protec­tion. The event was attended by 30 LGBTQI people from Yerevan and from different regions of Armenia.

The Executive Direct­or of the Global Fund For Trans Rights Protection, K. Kasyan, gave an opening sp­eech, greeting all of the participants and thanking them for their participation­.

Members of Board of Trustees, S. Ghukasy­an and K. Avagyan pr­esented the Fund’s activities, current and future plans, and talked about the da­y.

In the second half of the day, trainer Milena Abrahamyan spo­ke about the feminist movement, women’s rights and the curre­nt challenges.

Concluding the day, Milena answered the questions of the par­ticipants.

In the second part of the meeting, a pan­el discussion took place with the partic­ipation of transgend­er activists.
